@Vixuzar explanation may help, just more 2 tips:
1. When the agent already fell, the feet had to keep in the center of the body, the gravity won't affect it (else it gets very strange).
2. This one have two ways:
(a) Try to reduce the clean frames (frames that have no difference compared to the last one) and make the test with more or less 26FPS.
(b) Make your animation slower and without so much clean frames, so it will stop being so "step by step".
